        据报道，吉尔吉斯斯坦共和国反对派领导人、前外长罗萨·奥坦巴耶娃8日宣布，她领导的反对派已经成立临时政府，接管国家政权。请看以下报道：

       在上面的报道中，interim government就是“临时政府”，也称为“过渡政府”。Interim的意思是“过渡期间的”，例如：in the interim period（在过渡时期）。此外，interim还可以表示“临时的，暂时的”，例如：an interim step（临时步骤）。Interim也可以作名词用，看一下例子：I thought about going into town during the interim.（我想趁这个空当儿进城一趟。）

       有的临时政府会出台interim constitution（临时宪法），而且临时政府的建立经常会伴随着coup（政变）。奥坦巴耶娃成立了临时政府后，要求现任总统resign（辞职），由她的临时政府take over（接管）这个国家。一般发生政变，议会被解散等待重新选举期间成立的政府都叫做caretaker government（看守政府）。据报道此次流血冲突的起源是政府的corruption（腐败）和nepotism（裙带关系）招致了民众的不满。
