成都后年统一城乡户籍
Chengdu government officials announced Tuesday that the city will switch to a united household registration system between the city and its countryside in 2012. People will be allowed to migrate freely while enjoying equal public service and social benefits.

中国新闻网消息,成都市政府官员周二宣布,将在2012年实现城乡统一户籍,民众可自由迁徙,并享有平等的公共服务和社会福利。到2012年底前,成都将建立以身份证号码为标识,集居住、婚育、就业、纳税、信用、社会保险等信息于一体的公民信息管理系统。城乡居民将凭合法固定住所进行户口登记。
我国将首次参与全球ICP
《京华时报》消息,我国明年将首次参与国际比较项目活动。国际比较项目是一项全球性统计合作项目,主要目的是测算各种货币的购买力平价,以便用购买力平价作为转换系数,将各国国内生产总值转换为用统一货币单位表示,从而比较各国的实际经济规模和结构。从2011年1月开始,全球约180个国家和地区将开展国际比较项目调查,整个活动将于2013年年底结束。

People will be allowed to migrate freely while enjoying equal public service and social benefits. A management system for residents' information, including residences, status of marriage and family members, employment, taxation, credit and social insurance, will be set up in 2012. People will be identified by their ID numbers and registered according to their legal residence.
China to take part in ICP
China will participate in the International Comparison Program for the first time, in 2011, Beijing Times reports. ICP is an international statistics cooperation program. Its main purpose is to calculate the purchasing power parity (PPP) of each currency and use PPP as the conversion coefficient to make various countries' GDP on the same currency unit. Therefore, the real economic scale and structures of each country can be compared. From January 2011, around 180 countries and regions will start the ICP investigation. The program ends in late 2013.
