Spain Seeks Chinese Tourists

The government of Catalonia, a northeastern region of Spain, has launched a campaign to increase the number of Chinese tourists visiting the European country.

Officials from the Catalonia Tourism Bureau introduce that Spain is a popular tourist destination, boasting its own culture and language, as well as age-old traditions and festivals.

President of the world-famous Barcelona Football Club, Joan Laporta, assures Chinese visitors to Spain that the Spanish people are full of passion and hospitality.

Currently there are no direct air services between China and Spain.

Chinese travelers must fly to another European or Asian city and then transfer to a flight to Spain.
