Ismail Amat, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met in Beijing Wednesday with a delegation from the Polish Self-defense Party led by its President Andrzej Lepper.

They exchanged views on the Sino-Polish relations and other issues of common concern.

Lepper arrived in Beijing on Dec. 4 for a seven-day visit to China at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
