The Chinese government will continuously promote reciprocal cooperation with Luxembourg.
Visiting Chinese Vice-Premier Huang Ju made the remarks on Monday in his meeting with Lucien Weiler, president of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg.
He said he hoped that parliaments of the two countries will strengthen exchanges and cooperation to make more contributions to the development of bilateral relations.
Weiler said bilateral relations have become part of the relationship between the European Union and China, and Luxembourg hopes to strengthen dialogues and cooperation with China so as to promote the development of bilateral ties and EU-China relations.
Luxembourg is the first leg of his four-nation tour. Huang Ju is also scheduled to visit Ireland, Turkey and Egypt.
