Senior Leaders Emphasize Importance of Studying Three Represents
Senior leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC) are insisting that officials and Party members apply the important thoughts contained in the Three Represents to real-life situations to ensure the proper completion of tasks in their daily work.

Jia Qinglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said it is of vital importance to deal with the united front work with the guidance of the thoughts in order to work more effectively towards the goals of national development and reform.

Government departments should continue to focus on controlling the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and promoting economic construction, Jia, also chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said during his recent inspection tour of east Shandong Province.

Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, called for in-depth study of the Three Represents at a conference on Wednesday.

It is essential to organize anti-corruption work in accordance with the thoughts contained in the Three Represents, and relevant officials must make every effort to fulfill their missions, said Wu.
