A senior leader of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has called for an all-out effort to promote Party building according to the requirements of CPC Central Committee General Secretary Jiang Zemin's well-known instructions of the "Three Represent's".
Hu Jintao, a member of both the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the call at a symposium on party building, which ended on Saturday in Beijing
Hu said that the "Three Represent's", which say that the CPC always represents China's advanced productivity and culture and the fundamental interests of the Chinese people, is a scientific summary of the Party's guideline and a powerful weapon to help the Party win new victories in the new century.
He urged further research on important theory and practical issues in the Party building and in preparations for the 16th National Congress of the CPC.
