Canadian Invests in Environmental Protection Industry

The Canadian Tagalder Group signed a contract with Sanfeng Environment Protection Co. Ltd. Thursday in the capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province, in a bid to develop the environmental protection industry of west China.

Tagalder Group announced that it will spend 8.7 million yuan (US$1. 05 million) to establish a garbage processing factory in Yanting County in the province. The move will be the company’s first investment in environmental protection in China.

As a multinational high-tech company, Tagalder is involved in IT, biotechnology and agricultural products processing. Sanfeng specializes in making and developing garbage processing facilities.

The two companies also established Sichuan Tagalder-Sanfeng Environment Protection Scientific Technological Company.
