The nation’s first loan to assist patients suffering from serious ailments will likely be offered in Beijing next month.
Operations, such as coronary artery bridging, kidney and joint transplants, which require a large sum of money will now be aided by banks, the Beijing Morning newspaper said.
The idea was put forward by Han Demin, president of Tongren Hospital, a key facility in the capital. The Shenzhen Development Bank has expressed interest in supporting the move.
