A book of works by late Chinese leader Mao Zedong on the issue of Tibet was published recently as China celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet.
The book was jointly compiled by the Central Document Publishing House, the Tibet Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the China Research Center on Tibetology. The book was published by the Central Document Publishing House and the China Tibetology Publishing House.
The book is a collection of 101 works, including speeches and letters, written during the period of 1949-61 by Mao Zedong.
