China Post Cooperates with China Southern Airlines

China Post and China Southern Airlines Monday signed a framework agreement to cooperate in a series of fields ranging from postage transport to agents selling tickets.

Insiders noted that such a cooperation will be a win-win strategy as both sides will make full advantage of their resources.

According to the agreement, China Southern Airlines will provide more timely and convenient air services to help China Post transport its mail, both sides will link their computer networks together and will cooperate in personnel training, ground services and airline parcel transport.

Under today's framework, provincial branches of the two sides will cooperate in detail.

China Southern Airlines now boasts China's most airplanes, flight routes and bases. Its future merger with China Northern Airlines and Xinjiang Airlines will promote its strength.

China Post is the country's only operator of mail services, having a large network across the country.
