Eclipse of Moon due Next Week

People in Shanghai, as well as in the rest of Asia, are likely to witness the first lunar eclipse of the new century early Wednesday.

The eclipse will start at 2:42 a.m. and end at 5:59 a.m., said Wang Sichao, research professor at the Nanjing-based Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

It will probably rain in Shanghai next Tuesday. But it will very likely to clear up on Wednesday, local meteorologic observatory predicted Thursday.
