A baby boy 63.5cm tall and 6.5 kg weighed has been born in Mudanjiang City，northeastern China's Heilongjing Province.
The birth of such a giant baby is very rare in China，doctors of the Mudanjiang Woolen Carpet Factory say，adding that most newborns weigh less than four kg.
The mother of the baby is Wang Guizhen，28 ， a farmer in the suburbs of the city. She gave birth to the boy in a Caesarean operation. For some time before delivery she walked with difficulty and had to be sent to the ward with the help of her family.
Both the baby and his mother are in normal condition.
