China Fashion Week

Models flaunt outfits from the summer collection of "Flower Sprite" by Chinese designer Deng Hao during the China Fashion Week in Beijing on Sunday. Designer Deng's collection was inspired by a romantic myth about China's first empress Wu Zetian and flower sprites.

More home-grown wares take stage on the catwalk. High-quality fashion is in growing demand due to the increasing number of wealthy Chinese families. China's entry into the World Trade Organisation will also stiffen competition between foreign and domestic fashion companies in the world's largest emerging market.

Combination series show a model losing her shoes but continuing to present a dress created by Russian fashion designer Ralf Sardarov during the "East on Catwalk" fashion show in Bucharest, November 25. The fashion show aimed to collect funds to help for the rehabilitation of drug-addicted children and youngsters from the country.
