Beijing's Poly Theatre will play host to The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, one of the world's most renowned chamber orchestras this evening.
The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1945 by Karl Munchinger, has built its reputation on battling the influence of romanticism in modern interpretations of masters like Bach and Mozart.
Now they are bringing their acclaimed music to the Chinese capital.
The orchestra's comprehensive discography includes benchmark recordings of Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos," "The St Matthew Passion" and a complete recording of Mozart's symphonies.
After the concert in Beijing, the orchestra will travel to perform in Shenyang, Hangzhou, Wuxi and Shanghai.
