Musical Masters Gather in Beijing

(Bai Junfeng)

Every year, comparing with the various musical performances in autumn, the spring appears a bit quiet in Beijing. But this spring, the China National Symphony will give a series of performances in the Forbidden City Concert Hall and break the normal silence at this time of year.

With the coming of musical season initiated by China National Symphony, people will have more opportunities to watch top of the line musical shows.

On April 13 and 15, China National Symphony will perform the famous one-act opera Cavaleria Rusticana under the baton of eminent conductor Muhai Tang. The tenor Giacomini and soprano Laura Niculescu are both the favorite in the world opera circle.

On this 14, Muhai Tang will conduct a fairly young Geneva Chamber Orchestra to play Mozart in the Forbidden City Concert Hall.

And in the evening of 29th, the China National Symphony, conducted by Muhai Tang, will perform all the most popular pieces by Wagner.
