Ships Collide in Yangtze River

Four people were missing after two cargo ships collided in the Three Gorges section of the Yangtze River in the early hours of Saturday, according to a report by the China News Agency.

Chongqing-registered Longbao 28 going upstream collided with Yunhong 7 moving downstream at about 0:45 am on Saturday. The Yunhong 7 capsized, with six falling into the water, two later saved and four washed away.

Earlier on Thursday, another two cargo ships also collided near the site, leaving two missing and 12 injured.

Local police are trying all out to find the missing. And the cause of the accident is now under investigation.
