The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) jointly held a forum on anti-dumping measures here Monday.
With its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) pending, China has felt it urgent to rectify its anti-dumping and anti-subsidy regulations passed in 1997.
At the forum, experts and scholars from both at home and abroad exchanged views on the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy issues, and discussed Western legislation and practice in this regard.
Since 1997, China has made 11 antidumping investigations covering such fields of the press and the chemical, steel and feedstuff industries.
