Six HK Tourists Killed, Six Missing in SouthWest China Traffic Accident

Nine Hong Kong tourists were killed and six missed when a tourist bus collided with a car on Sunday afternoon Maoxian County in Sichuan Province.

According to local police sources, six others injured, including a driver and tourist guide from the local travel service.

The accident occurred at 13:20 p.m. while the bus was taking 16 tourists from Hong Kong to the Jiuzhaigou, a famous tourism destination in the province. After the clash with the Santana, the bus overturned and plunged into the Minjiang River.

The local government is carrying out around-the-clock rescue work and investigating the accidents at the press time.
