General Electronic (GE) Plastics set up Wednesday an online service center and a customer's innovation center Wednesday in Shanghai, in a move to improve services in China and Asia-Pacific.
The online service center will offer real time data and interactive experts' support through the Internet, while the customer's innovation center will help GE clients develop new products, said John Dineen, president of the Asia-Pacific branch of GE Plastics.
GE Plastics only had this kind of services in the United States and Europe before. The establishment of the two Shanghai centers indicates that GE Plastics values the great potential for the development of computers, commercial equipment, automobiles and electronic products in China, said Dineen.
