The BP Company, a renowned oil giant, will increase its investment in China, said Christ Gilson-Smith, a senior official from BP.
Over the past 20 years, BP has invested US$3.5 billion in China, ranking first in the country’s energy sector, he said.
BP's business in China mainly involves chemical and oil products, he said, adding that BP is planning a new series of projects in China with investment expected to exceed US$4.5 billion.
