"Ice" Drug Seized in Southeast China

Police in Lishui District in southeast China's Zhejiang Province recently uncovered a drug trafficking case and confiscated 110.85 kilograms of "ice" drug products.

Local police detected the existence of an underground drug factory in the district, and after investigating, raided the venue, capturing six suspects, as well as 40 kilograms of the product, which was half complete, and a large amount of raw materials.

A Hong Kong resident named Lin Zhiyi arrived in Lishui last year, looking for a place to set up a drug factory. Lin later purchased relevant chemicals and equipment, and transported drug materials to the spot. The factory just produced its first batch of "ice" drug products when it was raided.

It was the largest "ice" drug case uncovered in the province, according to local police.
