Prices Cut for Gasoline, Diesel Oil

China Saturday reduced the prices for gasoline and diesel oil by 130 yuan and 335 yuan per ton respectively, according to a notice issued by the State Development Planning Commission (SDPC).

This is the second time that China cut its gasoline and diesel oil prices in a month.

The notice demands China's major oil suppliers to set retail prices for gasoline and diesel oils in line with the actual demand and supply in various localities.

Meanwhile, the notice asks oil dealers at all levels to ensure market supply at the stipulated prices.

The notice also asks local pricing departments to tighten control over gasoline and diesel oil prices.

The price cut was in line with changes of oil prices in the international market.
