President Olusegun Obasanjo of the Federal Republic of Nigeria arrived in Beijing Sunday morning for a state visit from August 26 to 29 at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Obasanjo came to China with a large entourage including Nigerian ministers of foreign affairs, industries, commerce, transport, water resources and defense, four governors, entrepreneurs and reporters.

During the visit, Obasanjo will exchange views with Chinese leaders on bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common concern.
