Detailed estimates by departments concerned show that some 2.50 million visitors will flock to Beijing during the seven-day leave of coming "National Day" in October for sightseeing, visiting relatives or seeing friends.

During the several gala days in Beijing, many large business plazas and cultural activities will be open or on, such as the Metropolitan Heads Conference, Olympic Bid and International Tourist Culture Festival. These will be new "hot points" to boost the capital's economy.
