Chartered flights from Qingdao of east China's Shandong Province to Bangkok of Thailand have been made available since September 30, when the first flight was launched.
The chartered flight service is jointly operated by five organizations including China Eastern Airlines Shandong Branch Company and China (Qingdao) International Travel Service. A320 planes of China Eastern Airlines are used to fly on the air route.
The chartered flight service is the second air route that connects Qingdao, a beautiful summer resort, with Southeast Asia after Qingdao opened its first air route to Singapore.
Now nine air routes connect this coastal city to Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Seoul, Pusan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao.
