7. Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon
This is a costume action movie, directed by Hong Kong director Daniel Lee and set in China's Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD). But the star-studded production never has the vision of Red Cliff and proves how easy it is to make a laughing-stock out of big costume drama. It is more like a real-life representation of a poorly-made Japanese cartoon, densely packed with ridiculous dialogue. Many of the characters are nothing but clumsy and annoying burdens, making the poorly-scripted story look even worse.
