The Wachowski brothers spent US$120 million turning their beloved animation into a major feature. They said the movie was for kids. It turned out to be so – dizzyingly dull, in fact. The biggest problem is the violent car chases against the backdrop of colors that are too dazzlingly bright. The problem is disastrously evident on big screens, in fact the bigger the screen the worse the movie looks. Especially when presented on IMAX, the movie proved itself to be out-and-out disaster.
