Temporary hospital successfully delivers baby
The People's Liberation Army has set up a number of temporary hospitals in quake-hit areas to provide emergency surgery and medical treatment. One PLA hospital conducted a 10-hour, life-saving feat to help a pregnant woman deliver her child.

China quake latest death toll rises to 41,353
As of midday Wednesday, the official death toll had reached 41,353. The State Council says 40,854 of these were in Sichuan province. 274,683 other people were injured and 32,666 are still missing.
