Sweden summons Ecuador's embassador

The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs had decided Thursday to summon Ecuador's embassador over the grant of asylum to Assange.

"It is unacceptable that Ecuador tries to stop the Swedish legal process. In the speech of Ecuador's Ministry of Foreign Affairs there are several charges against the Swedish justice system that we have to reject," said Anders Jorle, press officer at the Swedish government.

He added that the Swedish government was "very disappointed."
