5.0-magnitude quake hits Papua New Guinea

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Bougainville region, Papua New Guinea, at 2020 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with the depth of 83.9 km, was initially determined to be 6.495 degrees south latitude and 154.178 degrees east longitude.
