A Turkish ship has evacuated more than 300 hundred injured people from, the Libyan cities, of Misrata and Benghazi.
The ship docked in the port of Cesme in Western Turkey on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a Red Crescent ship carrying food and medicine from Turkey has arrived in Benghazi.
The evacuees appeared happy to reach safe shores.
Medics wheeled the injured on stretchers into a portside field hospital.
Some of the Libyans spoke of their experiences.
Abdullah Sunosi Amir, Libyan Evacuee, said, "I am from Misrata. I was on the square and doing nothing. I got shot by the snipers. I was not doing anything wrong."
