The platform built for ski-jumping is especially sensitive to atmospheric conditions. Experts spent days of testing before coming up with a solution. Workers are installing a set of black pipelines which they hope will strengthen the platform and create proper conditions for competition.

The countdown clock in Robson Square is another famous spot in Vancouver, attracting people from all over the world. And crews are building an entertainment area with a stage for live performances on the other side of the Square. The Winter Olympic games begin February 12th.
