You might be thinking it's been really chilly where you are this winter, however, that's simply not been the case for organizers at the Vancouver Olympics. They've been contemplating a games without snow due to the average temperature in Vancouver last month being three degrees higher than it was in previous years. there's also been less snow falling in the region. how do you combat that?
Local Olympic organizers have opted for man-made snow, and toyed with the idea of white powder bing delivered from other locations. They've also considered using grass instead of snow but the committee says it's ready to overcome the situation, and aerial events like ski-jumping will not be transferred to another location.
