In 1937, a young Chinese man's indignation was stirred by the plundering of Japanese soldiers. He vowed to protect his country's cultural heritage, woodblock prints in particular, from enemy hands. That was Wang Shucun aged just 14. This childhood determination evolved into a lifetime's cause over the course of six decades. Meet Wang Shucun, whose own life experiences could make one of the best printed block stories ever.
