China's Disabled People's Art Troupe enchanted the world with its first production of "My Dream" in 2000. Last weekend, "My Dream" began its latest tour in Beijing. This group of blind, deaf or physically handicapped performers is showing that with a little determination, dreams do come true.

At the Poly Theatre, performers from the China Disabled People's Art Group presented the 20-plus acts of their production. There was singing, dancing, and instrument performances.

Their staple "Thousand-armed Goddess of Mercy", inspired by the Buddha sculptures, has mesmerized millions of viewers. But if you might be surprised to learn that nine of the 21 'goddesses' are actually young men.

Drawing inspiration from the romantic tragedy, "Butterfly Lovers" featured lead dancer Tai Lihua and a group of blind kids. Sign language became an expressive tool, with artists in black mimicking butterflies with the fingers.

The dance " Feel the Spring" was performed for the first time by blind artists together with two guide dogs, showing the close bond between them.
