A traditional Korean feast usually consists of sticky cakes, and dishes made of chicken. Korean people have long believed that chicken is something auspicious and brings prosperity.
Keeping in that spirit, the South Korean Food Festival began in the coastal city of Qingdao, in East China's Shandong Province on Monday. The festival is attracting visitors from near and afar with its mouthwatering delicacies.
Chicken dishes are a must on the dining table for Koreans celebrating traditional festivities, especially on a wedding day.
It can take even the most experienced chefs two to three days to make all the dishes for a newly-wed couple.
