South Korea's Yonhap News Agency has reported that the DPRK fired another short-range missile off its east coast late on Tuesday.

This comes after the agency reported two more short-range test missiles earlier in the day. These launches were conducted despite the UN Security Council's condemnation of the DPRK's second nuclear test.

South Korea's Yonhap News Agency quoted a government source in Seoul as saying that, of the three missiles launched by the DPRK, one was a surface-to-air missile and one was a surface-to-ship missile. These two were launched from its east coast, and had a range of about 130 kilometers.

On Monday, the DPRK fired three short-range missiles. This came after it conducted its second nuclear test the same day.

Following the UN Security Council's condemnation of the nuclear test, the DPRK's Deputy Ambassador to the UN spoke to reporters.

Pak Tok Hun, Deputy DPRK Ambassador to the UN, said, "What is important is to put all end to hostile comments, hostile policy in particular of the US and Japan. We have no any other intention (than) to defend ourselves."

The DPRK has celebrated its underground nuclear test amid a storm of international criticism. At Pyongyang's Indoor Gymnasium, senior officials and party cadres gathered, marking the test with speeches and applause.

Organizers said that "tens of thousands" attended Tuesday's event even though the venue only has 20-thousand seats.
