Wen Jiabao and other Chinese officials got first hand information about everything that's being done to combat and contain the virus. He spoke not just to doctors, but to patients as well.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao asked, "Are you felling better?"

"Yes, I'm OK. My temperature is down, but I'm still coughing a little bit. I think I will recover in one or two days."

The patient is an 18-year-old student who returned home from the United States and was confirmed as Beijing's first flu case on Saturday.

Wen Jiabao urged overseas students in epidemic areas to learn more to protect themselves from the flu and understand the preventive measures China has taken.
