Visitors swarmed the Qinhuangdao bird museum during the three-day May Day Holiday after its free-opening at the end of April.
The museum, located in Beidaihe Pigeon Nest Wetland, collects about 100 specimens of birds. This lets visitors have a better understanding of the birds' origin, evolution and development through a multi-media exhibition.
The museum has now placed limitations on admissions such as reservations and visiting time-limits, to maintain a constant temperature and protect the birds.
Qinhuangdao, one of China's most well-known summer seaside resort Beidaihe in Hebei Province, has now become a research center for bird experts and a great place to visit for bird-lovers.
