The first concert since the 2008 Olympic Games has been held at Beijing's new landmark, the national stadium.

Super star Jackie Chan performed there with some of his friends on May 1st, International Labour Day.
The concert opened with Jackie Chan beating a "fou," the Chinese drums used at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games. Chan performed a series of patriotic and inspiring songs including "Descendants of the Dragon".
It was a big encouragement for children invited to the concert from the Wenchuan earthquake zone.
Entitled "Confidence of China", the concert is just a beginning. At the end of June, folk singer Song Zuying, pop star Jay Chou, tenor Placido Domingo and pianist Lang Lang will present the Bird's Nest summer concert "Charm of China".
And The Race of Champions will move from Wembley to the Bird's Nest in November as the first major international sporting event to be held there since the Olympics.
