Top hair salons from Japan and South Korea gathered in Tokyo to showcase their latest hair coloring and styling techniques at the Splash International 2009. Tuesday's exhibition was one of the largest hair coloring shows in Asia.
Models strutted down the runway sporting a wide range of hair colors and outfits as they brought the stage to life. Park Jun, one of the most popular hair stylists in South Korea, wowed the Japanese audience with futuristic styles that featured multiple twists, curls and colors.
Ren Hori, Japanese hair stylist said, "It was my first time seeing a Korean hair style, but it was very impressive. I think fashion is a good way for Japan and Korea to build up a friendly relationship."
Many young hair stylists, who flocked to the show to see their colleagues and competitors, said the show was inspirational in many ways.
