The play opens with this song written by Wong as the characters dance to the melody and express their thoughts and questions about love. "Who", one of the theme songs of the original TV series, was also played as the background music.

Ten years later, the classmates on campus have earned their own positions and a decent title in society. But they face new problems and confusion in love. When money is no longer a problem, can they still "Cherish their Love Forever?"

Li Yapeng, the supervisor of stage version said, “All of us experienced a surge of emotions and thoughts, recalling our own past love stories. We've been quite busy these years, without much time to think about the past. The stories and thoughts of these youngsters reminds us of our youthful days.”

The play is the first effort from Li Yapeng's "Spring" Play Studio. He says stage drama is one of his hobbies after so many years on the silver screen but he's happy to return to something he loves most.
