Lai performed the theme song "You Understand My Love" for the bio epic "Eternally Enthralled".

The theme song for the movie "Fit Lover" turned out to be a promotional secret weapon. Jasmine Leung was invited to perform the theme song "Belonging" and Tanya Tsai sang the opening tune "Red High Heels". One year before that, the movie's prequel "Call for Love" won over many viewers.

Leon Lai was not so lucky. Lai performed the theme song "You Understand My Love" for the bio epic "Eternally Enthralled", in which he starred. The tune proved less than a good match for the story and didn't live up to the expectations of his fans.

In other movies, Angelica Lee sang "A Prelude of Ten Thousand Years" for "Missing", Fan Bingbing sang "Flight of Courage" for "Kungfu Pop", and Lun-mei Guey sang "Hello, Microphone" for "All About Women ".
