A thick fog covered Garmishch-Partenkirchen. Every competitor and participant hoped the fog would lift, but they were disappointed. By the end of the day, skiing fans still found ways to entertain themselves at the Kandahar course. Officials rescheduled the women's Super-G race for Sunday before the men's slalom. The men's downhill will be held at a later date.
