Zoo president Ye Jiesheng said, "We tell visitors to switch off their camera flash when they come in. We have two volunteer workers in the hall entrance helping visitors to switch off their flash if they don't know how to do it."

Small curtains hang over the windows to protect Tuantuan and Yuanyuan, and will remain until the pandas become more comfortable with visitors.
