In Paris 45 finalists from around the world display their derrieres in the hope of being declared the world's most beautiful bottom.

Organised by the underwear manufacturer "Sloggi", applicants were asked to upload a picture of their rear view on a website.

The final was hosted in the French capital in an old Parisian swimming pool, contestants presented their attributes to the media and guests.

The winners were a French man and a Brazilian woman who received 15,000 euros (18,700 USD), a modelling contract and some exclusive insurance for the most precious part of their body.
