The designer's staple fabric is Liang silk. It helps her to communicate her natural, peaceful attitude. Liang silk is handmade. The dyes are assisted with pond mud, as the materials lie for days, in the Sun, in an unpolluted environment. Liang silk was first created during the Ming dynasty about 400 years ago. Its popularity was revived in the 1920s and 30s. Now the fabric has found new vital energy in the creations of designer Liang Zi.
Liang Zi's 2009 spring and summer collection exuded a combined charm of natural dignity and elegance.
