A fashion collection using an eco-friendly fabric, of Chinese silk, proved the highlight of Sunday's showings at Beijing International Fashion week. The silk, dyed with a natural herb seemed to cast a mystic oriental charm over the audience.
The zen stage design and ethereal music set the tone for the showing. Models wore fashions made from "Liang Silk". It is with a natural herb called "Liang Shu".

The title of the fashion show was "Kong", or nothing. The designer expresses an idea of a quiet, peaceful inner world, to meet the hectic, modern lifestyle.
Liang Zi has been at International Fashion week seven years in a row. Every year, with a sole exception, she has expressed inner quietude with her simple modern cuts and eco-friendly materials.
Liang said, "Through the years, my fashion show has had varied themes. But all are centered on inner peace - living harmoniously with nature, holding positive thoughts - no matter what complex difficulties each of us may encounter."
