Olympic volunteers have won widespread praise.

Many volunteers say they have gained a lot through serving for the Beijing Olympics.

Xu Futing, a Taiwan volunteer, says "My biggest gain is that through the voluntary work, I found the common nationality and warm-hearted spirit in people from both sides of the Straits."

Rebecca Williams, Australian volunteer, says "I think my biggest gain has been to see the Chinese people rise up to serve selfishly the people of the world. As a foreigner, I see many foreign faces smiling and enjoying the time here because I love China very much and I always wish that many foreigners would also love China. So it is really encouraging for me to see so many people enjoy the culture and richness of China."
